Tweeting Through The Revolution

Ok so this really cool twitter account over 8 years is giving a day by day account of the American Revolution.

Here is one of today’s tweets.

How cool is that?  I think this is a pretty cool way to see history in action.  We genuinely see a play-by-play of the American Revolution in a really unique way that I think even John Madden would be proud of (George Washington can serve as @PatriotCast’s Brett Favre).  We get to imagine what it was like to live in the Revolution, except with twitter, cars, air conditioning, and a few other things.  So really it is nothing like living in the Revolution, but we certainly get to see an interesting public history approach to the American Revolution.

Assuming that I still know a bit about coding I’m going to try to insert that feed on this post.  I hope you enjoy!

Here is their twitter page as well if you are interested in checking it out for yourself. https://twitter.com/PatriotCast

[Ok so the coding didn’t work, but I’m going to keep trying]
